    What is embroidery?

    Embroidery is an ancient art form of decorating material using a needle and thread. It is believed to have been practised since fabric was first produced and displaying embroidered material was often a sign of wealth and status. 

    While the basic principles of embroidery are still employed today - needle and thread - we now use highly advanced machinery to sew your design onto the product. 

    Custom embroidery

    Once we have the design of your logo or name, we’ll create a digital file for our embroidery machines. Any graphic designer will tell you that a simple design works best - it’s the same principle with embroidery. While our machines are able to expertly match colours and shapes, if we believe your logo or image is too small or too intricate we will work with you to find a solution. 

    If you don’t have a design, you can choose one from our huge selection of stock motifs or discuss a bespoke design with our in-house artist.

    We can offer a range of embroidery services and can accommodate most types of garments, from t-shirts to bags, polo shirts to headwear.  

    Why choose embroidery?

    Embroidery is a highly durable and long-lasting product. Some pieces of embroidered art have lasted hundreds of years. With the design built into the material, there’s no chance of it wearing off! In fact, one of the oldest pieces of embroidery, the Bayeux Tapestry, was created in the 11th century and is still on display in France today.

    What is the minimum quantity for an order?

    Our minimum order is 20 units per design. 

    What format do you need my design in?

    You’ll need to send us a .png or .jpg file. We’ll then create a digital file for our embroidery machines. If you are unsure what format your file is or you don’t have a .png or .jpg version, ask your designer to send you through the right version. If we have any issues regarding image size or resolution - we’ll contact you straight away.

    How much will my embroidery cost?

    Once you know what you need, contact our team and we’ll arrange a quote for you. As a general guide, the cost of embroidery is based on the number of garments that you want decorated, the complexity and size of your design (remember, simple designs work best) and the number of designs/embroideries that are needed per garment. The cost can also be affected if you need embroidery on the front only or the front and back.  

    Can I pick up my products?

    Yes! We are conveniently located in Osborne Park, so whether you’re in Joondalup, Fremantle, Midland or anywhere in between, pop in and see us in-store. We have payment facilities available if you haven’t already paid online.  

    How long does the process take?

    The standard turnaround time for embroidery is 10 - 15 business days from the order confirmation, payment and artwork approval.
